This I do not know. I will have to ask them and report back. At a bare minimum, members of Council are expected to attend 2 Council meetings and various committee meetings each month.

This is the Chief Administrative Officer who is the single employee of Mayor and Council. North Cowichan also has a designated Corporate Officer, Financial Officer and Approving Officer all with designated authorities under the Community Charter and Local Government Act.
